About Me

Fans actually think I'm mean like my characters. I usually get, "Why are you so mean to Miley?" or "Are you really that mean?" I think it's funny but I tell them that it's just acting and once they know the true me, they immediately ask for a picture and autograph.

I love meeting fans. I went to Disneyland with my family one day and I happened to walk into a shop called "Libby Lu" to buy some hairspray; one girl noticed me and yelled, "Aren't you the girl from Hannah Montana?" Before I knew it, there was a line of kids asking me for pictures and autographs that the store manager even had to shut down the shop before it got a little too unruly. It was really surreal and overwhelming but I enjoyed every minute of it.

My favorite fan moment is when I attended the High School Musical 2 DVD premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. A young boy came up to me with his arm in a cast and he asked for my autograph. I signed it and he said that his cast was worth $1000 with my signature on it. There was no other signature on the cast because he said that he only wanted mine!

One thing I've learned is to stay grounded. It doesn't make things better to have an attitude and a high head. I always say, "Keep your head high but only to a certain extent." My family keeps me grounded. I have the best family to fall back and that's why I love them.
