I started to think of designing when I figured out that certain things never fit me like jeans and heels and blouses. I'm kind of a petite girl so that's what drew me to designing, so I can design clothes for girls who have the same figure as me.

My mom inspires my style. She has impeccable taste so I guess she's kind of passed it on to me. I would like to make a variety of clothes, not just for girls my age, but for younger girls as well. It would also be pretty cool if celebrities we're interested in wearing my designs.

My favorite designer is Monique Lhuillier, because she has the most beautiful dresses. Her designs are so intricate and the detail she puts into her dresses is like nothing I've ever seen before. Plus, she's also a Filipina.

I love ‘off the shoulder' clothes and European fashion specially styles/trends from Paris, Rome and London. I always shop for ‘one of a kind' and unique clothes and accessories. And I love, love, LOVE shoes, although it's really hard to find shoes in my size because I am a size 5. I also prefer heels more than flats, for obvious reasons!!!

Anybody can design. It's really easy, whether it just be ripping a shirt for a different style or pinning things together for a unique look, and that's what I've learned about designing. Go ahead and try it!
