My Experience on the Show

I play Ashley Dewitt and I'm once again one of the mean girls. I basically make Miley Stewart's life miserable at school whether it be spreading rumors about her or even just confronting her. My character is kind of the fashionista: she loves over-dressing and being the center of attention when she walks in a room. I would love to have Ashley's wardrobe, but I don't get to keep the clothes. Sometimes they're rented, or sold to charities, or saved to be used in another future episode.

Hannah Montana was actually the first show that I booked. I lived in the Bay Area at the time, and I sent tapes in to the Disney Channel. I probably auditioned about 20 times for Hannah Montana and before I knew it, I was being flown back and forth for call backs. Finally, I got a call from Disney saying that I should move to LA if I really wanted to pursue my career.

My favorite episode is "Ooh, Ooh, Itchy Woman.� It's where Amber and Ashley go camping for a school trip and they have to share a tent with Miley and Lily. There's just mess ups and mayhem. It was cool because the set looked so real; the trees, the dirty ground, it was awesome.

The Hannah Montana set is like my second home. I love being able to just hang out with the HM family. If anyone knew how many inside jokes there are, they would be shocked. Whenever Shanica, Miley and I are bored before we film, we do a dance that we call "the Miley crump.� Shanica had taught Miley how to crump and she just completely made it her own and it just kind of stuck.

O-M-G!!! I had one of my most embarrassing moments ever on this set. Of all times, it had to be when Zac Efron (my ultimate ‘crush') visited us. It was the episode where I got ‘CAKED' on the face and all over! He really waited for that scene and gave me a big hug as soon as it was done! He gave the assurance that it was OK!
